Vango Juno 500

Recently bought a Vango Juno 500 teepee from eBay, decent deal at £30 odd quid. Put it up for the first time in the garden the other weekend to check it out ahead of the trip to Scotland in the canoe.

Comes very compact in a small carry bag, not the lightest teepee in the world with the sewn in groundsheet etc. but still not heavy. Nice and simple to put up as well; peg out the two sides and back corner, pole up in the middle, peg out the front corners - JOB DONE. Only negative I'd have is the 'bathtub' groundsheet doesn't seem to sit particularly flat so it takes some adjustment on the corners to get it pegged out right. But could well just have been me putting it up for the first time too.

Once inside there's a good bit of space, standing room in the middle with ease (I'm 6ft) and if I'd bothered to peg out the guy ropes the sides would have been pulled out even more. We got the kids little table in, couple of chairs (we had our BBQ food in there), a reclining sun lounger and the little one's bike. And still could have had room to put down an airbed and get some mid afternoon kip! However a certain small child wouldn't let me relax quite that much.

Along with the quicker to pitch and larger teepee we've also got (without groundsheet) it will make a very quick and spacious campsite for our next trip. Interested to see how it holds up in rain and wind.
